Less than 80 kilometres from the Red City, the road that rises to the Oukaîmeden is splendid, especially when it leaves the valley of the Ourika. It allows discovering, on the overhang, many villages built on the mountainside. It is first bordered by agaves and prickly pears, which then leave room for ochre-stone fields.
You will meet many Berber women with colourful clothes The mountain range of the oukaimeden of an altitude of about 3200, offers its visitors a vast area of skiing.
The resort is equipped with a chairlift and six ski lifts and it represents a better natural place to spend the beginner’s skiing learning sessions. The station is known for the quality of the equipment. you can find restaurants and equipment rental facilities on site.
The local souks in Tahanaout and Asni (Tuesday and Saturday) are a wonderful opportunity for traditional photography in the rural markets that are in full effervescence.
